Being bad... my style...

I should be sleeping, but I'm not. I could have gotten several more paragraphs written on at least two different WIPs but I stopped writing so I could go to bed because I know I should be sleeping. Instead of doing anything genuinely useful I'm lying in the dark on my super awesome new natural latex mattress daydreaming about seeing friends I haven't seen in years who are coming up for a visit from Austin in August. They have wee ones I've never met yet and by then my sis, code name Fenris will have her own bean to toss in the pot. On top of that, one iof them is a talented photographer and I plan on having a session with her (time allowing) because some day I might, I just might actually land an agent, get a publishing deal and oh I don't know, need a great picture for a book flap. Of course this is coming from a girl who hasn't heard anything from anyone recently... But I digress... back to the bed and the dark and did I mention that I'm writing all of this on my iPhone? Yes, sometimes you just gotta get back to being a kid under the covers with your toy of choice after lights out. It makes things more fun.

  1. Wow, you're talented, typing all that on an iPhone! :) Sounds like you've got some fun ahead. Now get some sleep!

  2. Oh the Nancy Drew mysteries and Judy Blume stories I read under the covers using the light from my electric blanket! It's amazing that I don't have to wear glasses now that I'm a grown up, with a proper nightlight :)

  3. Woo-hoo for stolen moments of time--thanks for sharing what was on your mind! I'm loving Christi's admission about her electric blanket--who knew that would generate enough light to read by?!

  4. HAHA I love those moments! I love that you are on your iPhone I've pulled that one quite a few times... especially while laying in bed and an idea strikes!

  5. Just to clarify, it was the light from the controller to my electric blanket :)

  6. You must have some serious skills on the iPhone! I can't type on my iPod Touch beyond a few words. I don't even like to attempt app reviews!

Love the mood and feeling in that post though!
