Why I've Been MIA...

I've barely been clinging to reality the last few weeks... of course, it's hard to 'cling to reality' when you'd rather be somewhere else... and who wants to be in reality when it involves: rejection letters, people who intentionally tell slandering lies about someone you care about, animals dying, cars breaking down, and floods? BUT my reality also includes: one precious little colt nicknamed Jareth, one precious colt nicknamed Neo, two momma horses who are great moms, and very reasonable when it comes to humans chasing their new babies around, a boss who's also my friend, and increasingly pregnant sister, WIPs I love, and a short story that people like. So life isn't all that bad after all. Jareth is the brown baby with the star and the black mom. Neo is the black baby with the star and the brown mom. Now, without further ado, I'll try and crash Blogger with all my pictures of the new babies...

I'm Here...

I AM here... beneath all of this 'stuff'. You know, responsibilities... work... rejections... more work... more housesitting... a lot of stress... a little more stress... a beautiful new baby horse (pictures to follow)... the fat ass of the second mare due to foal... who's now sixteen days passed her projected due date... have I mentioned stress?... trying to get a short story ready for the PARSEC contest... for which John Scalzi is one of the judges (!!!)...

Yeah, I AM here...

Somewhere...

I hardly recognize my beloved Mac, it's been so long...

But at least it's spring... we have one healthy baby on the ground... with much less drama than last year... I've planted all my bulbs, with hardly a week to spare before they're suppose to start popping up... and I'm writing... even if it's on every WIP I ever started, back and forth and in a very disorganized fashion... words are still hitting the paper... and I'm STILL obsessively listening to the Ink soundtrack... which leads me to an ending question for this rambling post...
