Yeah, you know what I'm going to say... life's been busy... but I'll be back, hopefully relatively soon to write a real blog post. Part of the 'busy' in life has been that I'm literally within two or three chapters of finishing the first draft of my YA 'Amarok and the Gone Missing Girl' and LOTS of stuff is going on. We're talking hospital alarms, declarations of love, reconciliations with estranged families and the future of the MC's life... Very involved to say the least, and since my dystopian YA 'Evernow' is sort of stagnant at the moment (one full is out to an agent, who hasn't rejected me, but hasn't called me gushing either) I'm putting a whole lot of hope in AGMG... So I'm excited about finishing it and yet I don't want to rush things and leave a mess I'll have to sort out later in editing. And speaking of 'Evernow', I think my next 'real' post will have something to do with Dystopia in current literature, because I think I'm missing something...
I'll leave you with a picture of Walelu, my niece, who seemed to have a right good time at our 4th of July cookout...
