Nichole Ducleroir got this entire thing started and I heard about it from a guy who saw something about it when he was looking over a girl's shoulder in a wifi shop while waiting for a latte... ok, total lie, but it sounds good. The truth is that I saw it this morning while I was trying desperately to catch up on blog stuff (I haven't caught up on anything because I'm doing this instead) and it seemed like too much fun to miss. So here goes.
* What is your favorite word?
Indomitable
* What is your least favorite word?
But
* What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Pen, paper, nature
* What turns you off?
humanity scraping over nature, rather than trying to exist within it
* What is your favorite curse word?
Probably Hell's pit
* What sound or noise do you love?
Leaves falling through trees, horses chewing, train whistles my best friend snorting while she laughs
* What sound or noise do you hate?
traffic
* What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Something in the circus
* What profession would you not like to do?
anything with customer service
* If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
I'd love it if he just erupted into belly laughs

The circus! How could I forget about the circus??? That's an awesome choice of alternate employment! I always wanted to try the trapeze :)
ReplyDeleteFellow blogfest participant and new follower here. I really like both of your profession answers. The circus would be so much fun. I've seen documentaries about how hard the career can be, but to spend your life putting a smile on someone's face would be amazing! If you get a chance, check out my questionaiire at: http://writinginwonderland.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for the follow! You make such a good point. Most of mankind has little reverence for nature anymore. I fear what the world will look like in another 100 years. And the circus! What fun!
ReplyDeleteYou sound as if you're a country girl through and through.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a fellow participant in the blogfest (happy to meet you!) and your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're soooo right about so many people not respecting Nature. It just frosts me!
Kittie I LOVE the term 'frosts' my anything! I say it all the time, and kids are always like 'Wtf? Frosts? What are you, like from the middle ages?' Then I have to laugh and give them a little lesson on history and colloquialisms...
ReplyDeleteHaha! You had me going in your intro! I wish the scene in the wifi shop were true -- how cool would that be?
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your answers. I'm put off by the way we often control nature instead of living in harmony within it. I liked how you stated it: scraping over nature. Well put!
Thanks so much for playing along today!
humanity scraping over nature-- too true. Sadly true.
ReplyDeleteGreat list. :0)
I had to come over to see who would have such an awesome name. Artemis Grey...that is an author's moniker if I ever heard one. =) Good luck with your quest for an agent. Best place to get one is at a conference...do you go? If not, you totally should.
ReplyDeleteInteresting list, especially #10.
ReplyDeleteArgh! Customer Service! I wish I didn't have to deal with customers every day...they can be so difficult! And I love the idea of a belly-laughing God. Also, your name rocks :)
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at ...my best friend snorting while she laughs...Writers have such a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Good to 'meet' you.
ReplyDeleteLol....yeppers hey I got tickets for my friends to get outta jail free....but laugh is funny. Course the real question is he laughing cause you made it.....or laughing cause you had the nerve to show up with your little puppy eyes and the bag of cheetos!
ReplyDeleteHell's pit has a nice ring to it! Thanks for sharing your answers.
